Flight Club is a sneaker resale and consignment business founded in New York in 2005. It operates verification processes and has been part of GOAT Group since the merger announced in 2018. For buyers, the key considerations are the pair’s condition, delivered cost, and return policy.

What is Flight Club?

Its catalog features sold-out releases, special editions, and collectible sneakers offered by independent sellers. With consignment, the company takes possession of a product and sells it on the owner’s behalf.

Who founded Flight Club, and when?

The brand began in New York in 2005. The 2018 GOAT merger announcement identifies Damany Weir as Flight Club’s cofounder and chairman.

Does GOAT own Flight Club?

GOAT and Flight Club announced their merger on February 8, 2018, while retaining their own brands and sales channels. Do not automatically apply a GOAT purchasing or return policy to an order placed with Flight Club.

How does Flight Club work today?

Flight Club’s catalog consists of secondary-market products. Prices can vary with condition, rarity, and size availability. Flight Club also says that, depending on the buyer’s location, the displayed price may incorporate certain taxes, customs duties, or other charges, while shipping is calculated separately at checkout.

Check availability, condition, and price on the specific product page and at checkout.

Because this is resale, no permanent price range represents the entire catalog. A common model, a scarce size, and an exceptionally rare collectible sneaker can occupy entirely different price brackets.

How does sneaker verification work?

Flight Club describes its model as ship-to-verify and consignment: it receives products from independent sellers and checks authenticity and consistency with the description. The official explanation distinguishes that process from buying directly from a manufacturer.

Orders do not all take the same route. Under Lowest Price, some products first go through verification; others are fulfilled by the platform’s trusted partners. Check the order’s fulfillment option when assessing the timeline.

To understand how consumers assess authenticity independently of a marketplace, read our guide to sneaker legit checks and our explanation of fake sneakers.

Could you receive fake sneakers from Flight Club?

Verification reduces risk, but mistakes remain possible. If the pair you receive differs from the listing or raises authenticity concerns, preserve the product, tag, and packaging. Contact Flight Club support with photos and the order number.

Where do Flight Club’s sneakers come from?

Collectible and older models can appear on the secondary market; assess each pair’s price and condition individually.

This also makes age and condition worth examining. An authentic, unworn sneaker can still be old. Storage and the passage of time matter for certain materials and constructions. For older pairs, it helps to understand why some sneakers undergo hydrolysis.

Does Flight Club sell new and used sneakers?

Check the condition of each listing. The policy recognizes New In Box, New No Box, used pairs, and special categories. Used items are classified as Final Sale. Older rules for submitting consignment merchandise do not, by themselves, define the entire current catalog.

What do the product-condition labels mean?

Before paying, read the condition on the specific item page. “Authentic” does not automatically mean “new with a perfect box”: authenticity, wear, packaging, and condition are separate characteristics.

New In Box identifies a new pair with its box; New No Box, a new pair without the original box; and Used, a previously worn pair. Read any special-category defects and restrictions. An offer without a box is not equivalent to one promising the complete packaging and accessories.

Does Flight Club ship throughout the United States?

Flight Club offers U.S. delivery as well as international shipping. Confirm the options for your item and address at checkout before planning the purchase. A general rate chart does not replace that check, particularly for Alaska, Hawaii, territories, military addresses, or services with geographic restrictions.

How much does Flight Club shipping cost in the U.S.?

The current shipping rate chart lists $14.95 for the contiguous United States and $27.95 for Alaska and Hawaii. Expedited shipping is listed at $27.95. Other destinations have separate rates; the published fallback for countries and territories without a listed rate is $50. Confirm the total for your actual order.

The company warns that multiple-item or heavy-item orders may cost more. Also, shipping is separate from taxes and any applicable import duties. Check the amount actually displayed at checkout before completing the purchase.

What taxes apply, and what about international duties?

For a U.S. purchase, review applicable sales tax and the full checkout breakdown for your shipping address. Flight Club’s international policies also describe DDU and DDP. Those terms matter when shipping across a border; they should not be treated as a universal extra charge on every U.S. order.

DDU

DDU (Delivered Duties Unpaid), as Flight Club uses the term, means applicable duties and taxes are not necessarily collected by the platform at checkout. The buyer is responsible for amounts charged later according to the destination and import process.

DDP

DDP (Delivered Duties Paid) is the arrangement under which Flight Club collects applicable duties and taxes during checkout.

For an international destination, check Flight Club’s published DDP destination list. The company says destinations outside that list will probably ship DDU. Budget for any duties or charges that are not identified as paid, rather than assuming the shipping fee covers them.

The practical lesson is to compare delivered totals for the address you will actually use. Neither a product price plus shipping nor a single tax percentage quoted online necessarily captures the whole transaction. Applicable charges depend on the current rules, destination, and specific order.

How long does Flight Club delivery take?

It depends on the order type and destination. Flight Club describes its timeframes as estimates, not guarantees, and says international delivery times vary by country.

Lowest Price

For U.S. buyers, Flight Club says Lowest Price orders typically take 7–12 business days. Some pairs must first reach Flight Club for verification when a trusted partner is not fulfilling the order.

In some cases, receiving, authenticating, and shipping an item can take up to 30 days. These are official U.S. estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates; review the current delivery information and the estimate for your order.

Fastest To You

Fastest To You identifies eligible items with a quicker fulfillment route. For the contiguous 48 states, standard delivery is typically 3–4 business days when ordered before 11 a.m. local time, or 4–5 afterward. Eligible carrier next-day service is typically 1 business day before that cutoff or 2 afterward. These estimates exclude PO boxes and military bases and do not extend automatically to other destinations.

What is Flight Club’s return policy?

The return policy accepts eligible New In Box and New No Box purchases made online, provided they meet the condition requirements. It does not automatically cover in-store purchases.

Buyers currently have 30 days from receipt to submit an eligible return request.

That does not mean every product is returnable. The policy identifies the following among its Final Sale exclusions:

  • items marked Final Sale at checkout;
  • apparel;
  • special categories such as Vintage, Sample, ID, Custom, Defect, and Pre-Release;
  • used items;
  • certain purchases shipped to freight forwarders;
  • purchases made in person at physical stores.

Returned items are assessed for condition, tags, and packaging. Ship within three business days of receiving the return label; 30 days is the request window, not the mailing deadline. Use the provided label and packing slip. Ship to Store returns must be mailed back, not processed in-store. See the return instructions.

Does a Flight Club refund go back to your card?

Accepted eligible returns normally receive Flightclub.com credit, unless the law requires otherwise or the company decides otherwise. Outbound and return shipping and any priority-processing charge are deducted. A U.S. return-processing fee of up to 15% of the item price may also apply. Credit normally expires after one year, with exceptions for shipping addresses in the states listed in the policy. Read the refund procedure before buying.

Can you cancel a Flight Club order?

Some orders can be canceled through “Track My Order” or “My Account,” but the option is limited.

Cancellation is unavailable once the seller confirms, for Fastest To You items, for purchases made through Offer, for non-sneaker items, or after more than three hours. Those restrictions mean that even an order less than three hours old may be ineligible.

Do not complete a purchase on the assumption that you can decide later. Check the size, condition, address, and total before paying.

Where are Flight Club’s physical stores?

Flight Club has a presence in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Tokyo. Confirm inventory and the service you need before visiting: an online product is not necessarily available in every store.

In Tokyo, the store is at 3-21-7 Jingumae, Shibuya, in Harajuku. Retail visits are by appointment only, according to the official locator. If your visit involves a Drawing, check that release’s page: registration, eligibility, and pickup depend on the specific campaign.

What are Flight Club Drawings?

Flight Club Drawings are promotional drawings for selected releases. Entry is free, but selection does not mean the sneakers are free. A selected entrant gets the opportunity to buy the product at the price specified in the Drawing.

Entrants select a size and location offered by the campaign and submit one entry. If selected, they must follow the instructions and pickup deadline. Read the rules for that release; a city’s participation in one drawing does not mean it will participate in every future one.

Can you pick up an order in a store?

Yes. Some items qualify for Store Pickup at selected locations. The option appears at checkout when available.

The current policy limits Store Pickup to the contiguous United States. The buyer must present valid identification matching the name on the order and collect the product within the specified window.

Pickup can be useful if you live near a participating store or will be visiting the area. It does not mean every item can be reserved for collection: eligibility must appear at checkout, and you should plan around the order’s actual pickup instructions.

How do you sell sneakers through Flight Club?

The process has changed. Flight Club no longer accepts new sellers through its old registration process. New seller activity is handled through alias, GOAT Group’s official selling platform.

Older tutorials that simply tell you to open a new account at sell.flightclub.com are therefore out of date.

Do seller eligibility rules vary by country?

Flight Club’s seller documentation directs sellers to alias and identifies countries where it is unavailable, including Brazil. U.S. sellers should use the current alias onboarding process and check account eligibility. Being able to buy from Flight Club does not, by itself, establish permission to list merchandise from any country.

What is alias?

alias is GOAT Group’s selling app. Account approval, regional eligibility, commissions, and payouts have their own rules. Check those requirements before calculating your net proceeds; a published fee schedule alone does not establish that a particular seller account or location is eligible.

Flight Club vs. StockX: what is the difference?

StockX is a separate company. Its marketplace became known for asks and bids, while Flight Club grew out of consignment and developed a significant physical-store presence in sneaker resale.

Our StockX buying walkthrough explains that purchase process. For a broader comparison of resale services, see StockX, GOAT, Grailed and KLEKT.

What should you check before buying?

  • Confirm the exact condition: authenticity, product condition, and box condition are separate considerations.
  • Look for Final Sale: it substantially changes your return options.
  • Confirm the size: an authentic pair in the wrong size can still be a bad purchase.
  • Calculate the final cost: item price + shipping + applicable taxes + any additional cross-border charges.
  • Check the delivery option: Lowest Price and Fastest To You do not necessarily follow the same process.
  • Use estimates for your actual destination: contiguous-U.S. service limits and cutoffs matter, and international delivery times vary by country.
  • Read the return policy before paying: an eligible ordinary return generally results in site credit with deductions, rather than a straightforward refund to your card.
  • Consider age and materials in older sneakers: authentication cannot stop a product’s physical aging.

Is Flight Club worth it for U.S. buyers?

It can make sense when Flight Club has a model, colorway, or size that is hard to find through simpler channels and the delivered total remains reasonable after shipping and applicable taxes.

A low initial item price can still be misleading. Compare the full checkout amount and the potential cost of undoing the purchase: return shipping, any U.S. processing fee, and a site-credit refund can change the value of an otherwise attractive deal. For international delivery, also check DDP or DDU treatment rather than assuming duties are included.

Before ordering, compare U.S. sneaker retailers as well. The best choice depends on the model, delivered price, condition, timing, and after-sale policies, rather than the price on the sneaker’s product page alone.
